Cookies policy

1. What is a cookie and what types of cookies does www.avedian.es use?

The Avedian website (www.avedian.es) uses cookies. A cookie is a file that is downloaded to your computer when you access certain websites. Cookies allow a website to, among other things, store and retrieve information about the User’s browsing habits or their computer and, depending on the information they contain and how the computer is used, can be used to recognise the user.

There are different types of cookies.

Depending on how long they remain active, cookies can be:

Session cookies: designed to collect and store data during the time you are on the website. They are often used to store information that is only relevant to the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g. a list of products purchased).

Persistent cookies: These are a type of cookie that stores data on the computer and can be accessed and processed for a defined period. They have a deletion date. They are used, for example, during the purchase or registration process to avoid having to re-enter information. Depending on the entity that manages the computer or domain from which cookies are sent and processes the data collected, we can distinguish between:

First-party cookies: those that are sent to your computer and managed exclusively by us for optimal website operation.

Third-party cookies: these cookies are sent to the User’s device from one or from a computer or domain that is not managed by us, but rather by an entity that  processes the data collected. The following cookies may be installed on your device when you browse www.avedian.es:

Log-in cookies: when the user enters our website and logs in, a personal and temporary cookie is installed so that you can navigate through your user area without having to re-enter your information. This cookie will disappear when you log out.

Analytical cookies: analytical cookies are used to anonymously track visitors on the website.  These cookies help us determine the most-viewed content, the number of visitors, etc. This information will be used to enhance the browsing experience and optimise our services. They can be both first-party and third-party cookies. The latter include Google Analytics and advice cookies.

Third-party advertising cookies: the purpose of these cookies is to optimise ad exposure. We use Google's Doubleclick platform to manage these services, which stores information about the ads that have been shown to a User, those that interest the User and if the User visits the advertiser's website.
